BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (CNN) — A medical examiner in Birmingham has ruled out a pilot medical problem as the cause of the UPS plane crash last month.
The coroner reported the two-person flight crew died from blunt force injuries they suffered in the crash.
The airbus A-300 slammed into an open field near the city’s airport on August 14th.
An NTS preliminary report found no sign of engine failure or fire aboard the jet. The crew didn’t report any trouble before the crash.
Officials say the crash investigation is continuing.
