Huntsville City’s Career Readiness Seminar

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The City of Huntsville is hosting a free Career Readiness Seminar on Tuesday, July 29th.

One of the main topics will be how to land a job at Remington, which is expected to start-up its production lines next year.

City leaders invited Remington’s Human Resources Director to the event.

Also, a representative for the Alabama Industrial Development Training Program, which is provding pre-employment screening for the gun manufacturing.

There will also be information about an Automotive Training Program and Huntsville’s upcoming Police Academy.

The Career Readiness Seminar will be from 6:00 to 7:30p.m. at the Richard Showers Center on Blue Springs Road in Huntsville.

Each representative will give a brief talk and then there will be an opportunity for questions and networking.
