GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - The Brindlee Mountain Lions have never had a winning record, but Head Coach Chris Littleton believes 2014 could be the year that changes.  He doesn't want to give a prediction on how his team will finish, but he will tell anyone who will listen that there is something special about this group.

"I think we can have the best group that we've ever had here, whether that means we min the most games they've ever won here or just compete better than we've ever competed," Littelton said after wrapping up another training camp practice.  "But I'm just looking for that improvement but I really think this is a great group."

From the sound of thing, the players are buying to what their coach is selling.  These guys are hungry for wins, and senior offensive lineman Steven Clark says this is the year their hard work pays off.

"We're going to surprise you, it's going to be great and I believe that in your heat when you see us first game you will see something different. We're going to win and keep on winning we're always hungry and won't stop."
