MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Amanda Howard Real Estate celebrated the opening of its Madison office Thursday.

The office is located on County Line Road in the Publix shopping complex and is the second location for founder and C.E.O. Amanda Howard.

“It just made sense for us as we were growing and expanding outside of our office that our next stage was to come to Madison,” said Howard.

The expansion had been in the works for more than a year.

“We’ve been really planning this since October of 2013 and so to see it all come to fruition now is just really exciting,” said Clair Lee.

Lee will serve as the broker of the Madison office, as well as its listing partner.

She will be joined by two buyers agents, Whitney Stringer and Michelle Daymond

Howard says this new location will better help the growing west Madison and east Limestone communities.

“We wanted to have a place that we could better serve them, have a location that’s closer and easier for them because that’s what we’re about,” said Howard.

“We just saw the need to be able to come into this area and serve the clients more in Madison,” said Lee, “and to make a contribution to the city of Madison, that was something that we really want to do.”

Howard opened her first office in Huntsville in 2009 and she plans to offer some new incentives to go with her new location.

“I have a lot of guarantees that people know me for in Huntsville. We’re bringing those to Madison, but I’m going to add a few extra ones here just for our Madison residents,” said Howard.
