HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - Huntsville Police are still looking for the person or people who shot two people during a Sunday morning shooting. Officers said a male victim is dead and a female victim is suffering life threatening injuries. Police have identified the victims as Cornelius Morris of Ardmore and Alexis Crawford of Huntsville. Morris is 19; Crawford is 20.

Officers said two males fled the scene in a grey or silver Dodge Charger with no tags.

Police said it started near Plummer Road and Highway 53 after 3:00 a.m. They said the two victims and the shooter left that scene and traveled more than two miles to the Sunoco gas station located on Pulaski Pike and Mastin Lake Road. Police said the shooter shot the female victim in the abdomen and the male victim in the head.

Sunoco Owner Ram Bimali says the store is a target for late night activity, because it is one of the only businesses open late in the area. "I don't know why everybody just picks up this station when something happens, maybe because of it is open, and in this neighborhood there is no other store open in the night time, that's why maybe they just pull over here," says Bimali.

If you have any information or see this vehicle, please call the Huntsville Police Department at (256)746-4100.
