HARVEST, Ala. (WHNT) – Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shooting call on Cloverbrook Drive in Harvest around 3:00 AM Saturday.

There they found Anqualo House, 33, who suffered a fatal injury to the neck.

Neighbors who say they witnessed the incident told WHNT News 19 that House was hit at close range with a crossbow bolt.

Deputies arrested and charged 25-year-old Troy Wright with murder after conducting several interviews. He was still on-scene when law enforcement arrived and was taken into custody there.

“I had to sit there and watch him die, knowing there was nothing I could do about it,” said Fredrick Benjamin, a friend of House’s.

Benjamin said from what he could tell after he came out to help, House had been involved in an argument with family that continued outside their home and into neighbors’ yards.

Wright was placed in the Madison County Jail with a bond set at 75,000 dollars.
