Bond enforcement officers tipped off police about a meth lab at a home with a history of criminal activity. Huntsville police discovered the active meth lab at a home in northeast Huntsville on Giles Drive off Oakwood Avenue. The home belongs to James Skiles. Fugitive recovery agents went to the home looking for Skiles for jumping bail on rape and sodomy charges.
While the agents were inside the home, they discovered two people working an active meth lab. The agents immediately called police. Huntsville police took the two into custody, while they waited on STAC agents to dismattle the lab. The STAC team located one meth lab, meth paraphernalia, and a syringe loaded with meth. Bond enforcement agents are still looking for Skiles. Police say this is the second time in three months they have found a meth lab at this home.
