Road conditions have improved throughout the day in many parts of the Tennessee Valley. However, law enforcement agencies urge you to use caution because you may encounter slick areas. Please be aware we're expecting another round of snow tonight that is expected to cause more travel problems Wednesday, possibly into Thursday morning. ***Do NOT call 911 for road conditions. Please keep the line clear for emergencies.*** Huntsville
Tuesday 3:25 p.m. - All of I-565 and all of Memorial Parkway are currently open. Highway 72 over Chapman Mountain is open. So is Cecil Ashburn Drive, but you're urged to use caution. Bankhead Pkwy remains closed. Highway 431 over Monte Sano (between Hampton Cove and Huntsville) is open but has several icy spots.
