Auburn University employee arrested for enticing a child

AUBURN, Ala. – An Auburn University employee was arrested this week after allegedly checking a 14-year-old girl out of an Opelika High School.

47-year-old Larry Dewayne Brown is charged with enticing a child for immoral purposes and interference with custody.

He was released fro jail Friday after posting 18-thousand dollars bond.

Brown serves as the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Affairs at Auburn.

According to the Lee County Sheriff, Brown checked the teen out of school without the school or parent permission on December 16th.
