Vehicle hits child in front of Limestone County Jail

ATHENS, Ala. – Authorities said a vehicle hit a child outside the Limestone County Jail Tuesday afternoon.

The Limestone County Sherrif’s Office said the child fell out of the car as the mother was parking, and police were afraid the child got clipped by the vehicle after falling out.

Authorities added the child didn’t appear to be seriously injured.
