LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. – The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office has released a portion of video from Wednesday morning’s chase and standoff that began with a series of criminal acts in Alabama and Tennessee.

Investigators say it all started Tuesday night at a home where a man approached his ex-girlfriend while holding two handguns. The series of events ended early Wednesday morning after a chase and standoff with Casey Cole White.

In this first video, you can hear the exchange between a deputy with the Limestone County Sheriff’s office and a man they have identified as White.

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office has also released dash camera video of the chase that led up to the standoff. You can see the driver swerve into oncoming traffic on Highway 31. Then the man, later identified by investigators as White, swerves right and hits the outside shoulder of the road.

Watch the video closely at the 1:10 time code. You can see a flash in the back window of the white car. That’s when deputies say the man shot the window out of the vehicle.

White ultimately surrendered to Sheriff Mike Blakely peacefully. No one was hurt in the chase or standoff.
