LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A beloved barbecue joint in Athens will soon close its doors.
The landmark LawLers Barbecue and Catfish on Hobbs Street will be closing January 31st.
The owners posted to their Facebook page that they have decided to sell the building.
Instead, they plan to focus on growing their express LawLers Barbecue restaurants.
If you are a loyal customer at the Hobbs Street restaurant, they are inviting customers to get their LawLers Barbecue fix at the Highway 72 location.
