LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Limestone County parents in search of a safe place for their children to stay during storm cleanup now have an option. Clements Baptist Church, the Limestone County School System and the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Team are partnering to offer free childcare to tornado victims.

Clements Baptist Church on Highway 72 is providing the space. Limestone County teachers and trained disaster volunteers are providing the childcare. The program, which runs through Friday, is open to children ages 7 and under. Hours are 8am - 5pm. There's no need for parents to pre-register. Organizers say they should just come to the East entrance of the church. All food, diapers, wipes and other essentials are provided.
