ATHENS, Ala. – Athens Utilities is working to restore power after an outage in the east part of the city.
According to the city, a dump truck broke a utility pole around 9 a.m. Monday.
Crews were called to replace the pole and power lines. Power was reported out in eastern areas of the city south of US-72.
