ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) – We know how stressful finals week can be.  Athens State University has a great idea to help take the pressure off students and staff.

To help summer students stay calm and relaxed this week during their finals, therapy dogs paid a visit to campus.  Students spent some quality time with man’s best friend and the little fur babies loved it!

“We are providing stress relief for all services across the campus. So for our students, staff and faculty it’s finals week, so therapy dogs are a great way to have some stress relief,” said Jean Martin.

This is the fourth semester Athens State has incorporated therapy dogs for students and staff, and they say it’s always a big hit.
