Two men are in the Morgan County Jail after drug agents checked out a tip that turned out to be an active meth lab in Hartselle.  They found meth in one man’s pocket, and an active meth lab in the home.

In the past year, Morgan County Drug Task Force agents responded to numerous calls in a one-block area on Gilchrist Street in Hartselle.  They have shut down six homes, arrested 10 people, and closed numerous meth labs.  This latest case happened Wednesday, April 11 around 6 p.m.

Both suspects face charges of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and loitering in a drug house.
