2 Tennessee Valley High Schools compete in National Cyber Defense Competition

TENNESSEE VALLEY, Ala. (WHNT) -Two teams of students, one from New Century and the other from Grissom High School competed in Washington, DC in a National Cyber Defense Competition.

The team from Grissom High School were named the winners of the Leidos Digital Forensics Award, coming out on top of eleven other teams.

More than 21-hundred teams from around world participated in this competition.

The Cyber Patriot's competition provides students with events that challenge them with hands-on experience, securing computer networks, and inspiring them for careers in cyber security and S.T.E.M.
