Responsible for a variety of educational interventions for Hemodialysis such as creation and delivery of training programs, coaching, interdepartmental collaboration, problem solving and conflict management/resolution.
Bachelor’s degree required. MS degree highly desired.
Human Resources, Education or Training background preferred. Previous training, education, consulting or process improvement experience with adult learners required.
Some health care experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, preferably with bachelor degree. Current Alabama nursing license, ACLS, TNCC and ENPC required. BCLS required within 6 month provisional period.
Minimum of five years experience as a staff nurse in an emergency department required. Prefer recent management and/or instructor experience. Specialty experience preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must have knowledge of all equipment and materials required for procedures described in the Emergency Services Policy/Procedure Manual and Nursing Service Procedure Manual. Must be able to become proficient in use of pre-hospital radio equipment and poisondex. Must be proficient in use of computer, to include word processing and spreadsheet applications.
