General Duties:

This position is responsible for assisting/supporting all administrative functions of the Plant Administration Department. Specific accountability will surround the functions of MRO Buyer to include activities surrounding negotiating price with vendors, networking with other purchasing professionals, ordering, tracking, and Capital Appropriation Request management for the Site. Must be able to cross train and support other Administrative jobs within the Department as well as other duties as assigned.

· Oracle, Avanits Maintenance, P-Card purchasing programs, CAR management

· Highly developed computer literacy to include Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and the ability to learn other applications as appropriate

· Being a team player is a must

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated abilities of professionalism and confidentiality/discretion

· Understand Corporate Purchasing Policies

· Must be capable of systems management

· Proven sound decision making ability

· Flexible work schedule to meet operational demands

· Proven track record in administrative and organizational skills

· Proven Leadership skills and ability to develop and deliver training programs

· Buyer or Purchasing experience and vendor management a plus
