BOAZ, Ala. (WHNT) – Our Tools For Teacher’s recognition and $319 reward this week goes to Rachel Noles, a fourth grade teacher at Boaz Intermediate School. This 14 year veteran educator was nominated by current student, Peyton Cooper, who told us Ms. Noles makes learning fun through hands-on activities.

Ms. Noles tells us this interactive approach is key in making science come alive for her students.

“I just really enjoy seeing them working hands-on and getting to see things you wouldn’t see just by opening up a book and reading,” Noles said. “We like to get in the science lab and try to figure out how things work.”

If you know a worthy teacher, coach, principal, or aide, tell us about them through the Tools for Teachers nomination form.
