One local store wants to make sure WHNT News 19 and Rocket City Mom reach our goal of 90,000 diapers and wipes collected in the The Great Diaper Drive 2016.

Awe Boutique in Downtown Huntsville is currently offering customers a 10% discount, in exchange for a new package of diapers or wipes (any size) benefiting the cause.

Co-owner Heather Shaw tells WHNT News 19 supporting The Great Diaper Drive was a very personal decision. "When my husband and I started the store that was one of our goals, was to help and give back to the community," Shaw explained.

As a mom herself, Shaw said she knows first-hand how hard diapering expenses can hit.

"We know a lot of our Tennessee Valley families are struggling financially," Shaw stressed. "Diapers are really expensive. My little ones, when they were out of diapers, it was like a pay raise!"

Awe Boutique is located at 100 Jefferson St. in Downtown Huntsville. The shop will be collecting diapers and wipes through Wednesday, Sept. 28th and plans to drop them off during the campaign's big Blitz Day on Thursday, Sept. 29th. That's when WHNT News 19 and Rocket City Mom will be live all day at the Walmart at 8650 Madison Blvd. in Madison.

Awe Boutique specializes in unique women's clothing size small to 3X. You'll also find jewelry, keepsakes and more.

The shop also accepts gently used boutique quality clothing for store credit.
