HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Space and Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium brings together top industry leaders and government officials in one place, in a networking event attended by professionals from the U.S. and allies from around the world.
The event was canceled last year due to the pandemic, but the 2021 installation got off to a strong start early Tuesday morning at the Von Braun Center.
News 19’s Steve Johnson spoke with several leaders attending this year’s conference about the importance of the event, as well as the focus of their companies.
