In this edition of Project Paws, it's a kitten frenzy!  Some little furballs in Madison will be tough to resist.

MARF, the Madison Animal Rescue Foundation, has several nine-week-old kittens up for adoption.  Spice, Sally, Susie, Sam and Stan are adorable, and it's hard to believe they were abandoned.

Recently, they were dropped off at a rescue site in a pet carrier, dirty and caked with mud, and smelly.  But after baths, exams, and shots, they have cleaned up very well.

Some of the kittens are black, and others are black with silver and one has tortoise shell coloring.

A MARF representative says the kittens almost immediately started seeking out their foster mom to cuddle with her and ask for attention.  They also love to play.

The kittens have had their first round of shots and are ready for adoption.

The only piece of advice: watch your planters.
