HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The monthly Street Food Gathering, usually held on Friday evening, has been moved to Sunday, May 22.

It's because inclement weather is forecasted for Friday.  Instead, the gathering will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the regular Church Street location next to Big Spring Park.  The weather is expected to be nice, so come out and enjoy the park's beauty, including the newly renovated East section.

Food trucks will begin setting up around 1:30 p.m. and the gathering begins at 3 p.m.  The Downtown Entertainment District will be open so guests will also be able to enjoy purple cups during the event.

Last week we featured many of those events, like costume contests and the Derby Girls making an entrance on our Downtown Huntsville Weekly Segment.

For more information on the times and how you can sign up for the various contests check out their Facebook page.
