The holidays are a hard time to be away from family, and even harder when you don’t have a family.  Kaiden is 10 and in foster care.

Kaiden is in the 5th grade and on the 'A' Honor Roll. His favorite subject is spelling.

“So if I give you any word you can spell it?” Lee asks.  'TECHNOLOGY.'

Kaiden nails it.  “T-E-C-H-N-O-L-O-G-Y," he says.

Kaiden is a smart kid, and knows what he’s up against in foster care.

“You have been taken away from your family and you’re like with a family until you can go back,” Kaiden says.

“Do you wanna be adopted?” Lee asks.  “I do, I do.” Kaiden answers.

Kaiden’s been in a lot of homes over the last three years.  His wish for a family is simple.

“Someone that cares,” he says.

He likes to help and play with his Pokemon cards.

“I like to play sports, I like to read.” Kaiden says.

“What do you like to read?” Lee asks.

“My favorite one is the Bible,” Kaiden says.

“Why is that important?” we ask him.

“You gotta know more about God, the one who created you,” Kaiden answers.
