(WHNT) - Spring is just around the corner and Jeff Bennett from Bennett Nursery is here to tell us how to do some spring pruning.

This winter has been a little colder than we in north Alabama are used to and many of your plants might be showing the results of that winter damage.

If you do have a damaged plant, check to see if the stem is alive or dead by taking a blade and scraping the outside a little. If there is green underneath, the plant is still alive!
