(WHNT) - In the heat of summer, some of your plants may not be looking so hot right now.  But there are some plants that love plenty of sunshine.

Crepe myrtles are a must for any garden in the South.  They come in beautiful colors and grow to different heights, depending on the variety you choose.

They need full sunshine -- six or more hours a day, according to Jeff Bennett of Bennett Nurseries.
