Hey y’all. Moving back to Alabama is a reunion for Tiffany.

She joins the WHNT news team as the Sand Mountain bureau reporter after working as a weekend anchor and reporter in Amarillo, TX for three years. Before that, Tiffany braved the cold and tried my hand at reporting in Butte, MT. Spoiler: She only lasted ONE winter before she needed to get closer to home. Tiffany’s first job was in Montgomery, AL as a producer and photographer.

Tiffany grew up in a small town not too far from Troy University, where she graduated college. She is thrilled to live and work in north Alabama.

In Amarillo and Montana, Tiffany covered dozens of fires, local elections, and Panhandle Spirit stories, among other topics. She looks forward to helping tell all of the impactful stories affecting folks here in north Alabama.

Tiffany enjoys getting out in the community, meeting people and telling their stories. She believes journalism should be about informing and helping folks understand what’s going on in the world around them. If she is not covering a story, Tiffany can be found binge-watching tv shows with her husband, her dog, Rascal, and cat, Sophie.

If you have a story idea, please send her an e-mail at tiffany.lester@whnt.com.
