Josiah Elmore is a Digital Content Producer at WHNT News 19. He joined News 19 team in March 2023 after graduating with a degree in Sports Journalism from Liberty University.
Josiah is from Roanoke, Virginia but is familiar with the Tennessee Valley as he has family throughout North Alabama.
While still in high school, Josiah was known across Southwest, Virginia, as “Young Sparky” the intern on the AP Award-winning sports talk show Greg Roberts Live Show. This is where he learned the importance of being an accurate and honest journalist. During his time with the show he was given the opportunity to cover both Virginia and Virginia Tech’s Athletic programs.
Growing up a huge sports fan, Josiah loves the Auburn Tigers and Baltimore Orioles. In his free time, Josiah enjoys attending any sporting event he can.
