Florence Police training Tuesday, public may hear explosions

FLORENCE, Ala. – The Florence Police Department announced they would be conducting improvised explosive device training at their facility on Tuesday.

In a Facebook post, the department advised the public that small explosions would occur and they may be heard a few miles away.

The department added there is no cause for alarm, as they are training.
