Two apartments damaged in Huntsville fire

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Fire and Rescue is investigating a fire that broke out overnight.

Firefighters responded around 10:45 p.m. Friday night to 6660 Steeplechase Drive.

WHNT News 19 was told that two apartments were damaged and the fire started in one of the attics. The units are not a total loss, Investigator Bennet said.

The investigator also says that one person was displaced and the other owner was unable to be contacted Friday night.

A spokesperson says nobody was hurt.
