Jackson County deputies locate missing man separated from ATV riding group

JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. — Jackson County authorities confirmed they found the missing Madison County man near County Road 10 Tuesday night.

Kristopher Robert Horzempa, 36, was reported missing Monday. He was separated from his two friends while four-wheel riding in Paint Rock Valley area, according to officials.

Authorities are looking for a missing man in the Paint Rock Valley area of Jackson County.

According to officials, three adults were four-wheel riding and got separated. They say two came back but are still missing the third member of the group, Kristopher Robert Horzempa. Horzempa is 36 and lives in Madison County.

Chief Deputy Rocky Harnen says deputies began searching Monday and are continuing their efforts Tuesday around the area of County Road 10.
