Shooting in Madison County leaves man with ankle wound

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. — A man was shot in the ankle Saturday at the intersection of Townsend Drive and Old Gurley Road, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Officials say the wound is non-life-threatening.

According to authorities, the shooter is in custody and knows the victim.
