HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Looking to adopt this holiday season? Huntsville Animal Services, along with Landers McCarty Subaru dealership, is hosting a fee-waived adoption event on Thursday, December 21 and Friday, December 22.

The adoption event is being held at Huntsville Animal Services and is made possible thanks to a grant from the ASPCA/Subaru Fee-Waived Adoption Program. The grants help animal shelters across the country get pets adopted before the Christmas holiday.  Huntsville Animal Services’ goal is to adopt 50 shelter pets into community homes.

Landers McCarty Subaru will also be at the event to show support and help distribute free gifts for pet care, while supplies last, to families who adopt a special dog, cat, puppy or kitten. The same amenities as a regular adoption package will be included. That package includes a rabies vaccination, microchip, spay or neuter surgery and a heartworm test.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. The shelter is located at 4950 Triana Boulevard in Huntsville, Alabama.
