Crisis Services of North Alabama provides free help 24/7 to domestic violence victims

October may be better known as a time dedicated to those fighting breast cancer, but Crisis Services of North Alabama wants to remind the community that it is also domestic violence awareness month.

Crisis Services of North Alabama HOPE Place offers two facilities that provide safe, confidential, emergency shelter to adults and their children who are fleeing their home due to domestic violence.

Domestic violence may include:

  • Physical Abuse
  • Emotional Abuse
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Destruction of Property and/or Pets

HOPE Place provides trauma-informed, comprehensive services to victims. Free professional help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling their Help Line at 256-716-1000 or 1-800-691-8426. More information can be found here.
