First fatality confirmed for 4th of July traffic in Marshall County

Marshall County, Ala- The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirmed in a tweet that it is responding to a wreck with one fatality.

The agency said it was the first fatality of the 4th of July travel period.

It happened in Marshall County on Fawn Lane off AL Highway 168.

Troopers have not yet identified the person killed in the crash. They said there was only one vehicle involved.

In the tweets below, the agency urged drivers to be safe this weekend.
