Ider home struck by lightning, destroyed by fire

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. - The National Weather Service has confirmed a lightning strike caused fire in DeKalb County. The fire destroyed the home.

The National Weather Service says the home was located at 873 County Road 651 in Ider.

The home took a lightning strike directly around 9:00 a.m.
