DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. -  This week's Tools For Teachers winner comes from Fyffe High School.

Fyffe's Regina Parris won $319 for her outstanding work in and out of the classroom.

Regina Parris teaches math, but that's not all. Principal Ricky Bryant says, "She sponsors two main programs here. The Beta club which is really successful had some very good success at the state competition. In addition to that she is our Robotic sponsor as well."

He also says she doesn't punch a clock. "She has been a 24/7 day a week teacher. Her day very rarely ends at the final bell."

Miss Parris was easy to find to award her with $319!

And Miss Parris was very excited!  "Wooo!!!" she said! "Thank you!"

Regina Parris shows her excitement for winning $319!

It looks like her cheering section started at home. "I had such amazing parents that pushed me and let me know I could do anything that I wanted to set my mind to" said Parris.

As for that Robotics team, "Everything we do for Robotics is after school at my house in my garage. It's late nights, but it's worth it."

Worth it, to help educate and inspire just as her parents did for her.
