What kid doesn’t love construction equipment? Cute smiling dogs? Winter white landscapes?

A clever little app from Sago Mini combines all three of those; creating a joyful task-oriented game for toddlers.

Holiday Trucks and Diggers is available for free, for a limited time, in Apple’s App Store.

The goal is simple. Users pile up mountains of snow using dump trucks, cranes, bulldozers and other heavy equipment. They can then transport the snow to build a giant snow fort. Once the fort is complete, players get to decorate it with all kinds of festive holiday-themed items.

Recommended for ages 2-5, the app features lots of silly animations and surprises. You can also play without WiFi or Internet, making it a great option for travel (especially on long Christmastime trips.)

Another plus? There are no in-app purchases or third-party advertising, so you don’t have to worry about your child clicking on something they shouldn’t.
