Report: Alabama’s Lane Kiffin to interview for Houston’s head coaching job

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Lane Kiffin, current Alabama offensive coordinator, will reportedly interview for the head coaching position at Houston after Alabama’s SEC Championship game against Florida.

This, according to an article by  Houston is looking for a replacement now that Tom Herman has accepted the head coaching job at Texas.

Kiffin will meet with Houston on Sunday, according to the report.  SB Nation also reports Alabama head coach Nick Saban supports Kiffin taking this job, because LSU wouldn’t be able to snag him for the Tigers’ offensive coordinator opening under Ed Orgeron.

The Tide and the Gators will take the field at 3 p.m. central time Saturday in the Georgia Dome. You can watch the game on WHNT/CBS.
