The Mayors are going head to head in an epic tennis match for charity

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The 2nd Annual Mayor’s Cup is underway.  The event is a five-day indoor tennis tournament leading up to a grand finale match between Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and Madison Mayor Paul Finley.

Brunch appetizers and cocktails will be served court-side as you watch this epic tennis match between the mayors at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The tournament is being held through November 20th at the Athletic Club Alabama.

The Mayor’s Cup Reception will conclude the events on Sunday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and will include appetizers, cocktails, a silent auction and the “Return the Serve” fundraiser with an ACA tennis pro.

Tickets to the Mayor’s Cup Reception are $30 per person.

The Mayor’s Cup benefits Susie’s Wish, a non-profit organization that raises money to send patients with life threatening illnesses to the beach.

The foundation was named after local news reporter Susie Edwards who passed away in 2010 from cancer.
