Hollywood Police officers investigate string of fires believed to be arson

HOLLYWOOD, Ala. — Hollywood Police officers are investigating a string of fires believed to be arson.

Hollywood Police Chief Jason Hepler says the cases are on Mitchell Drive in Hollywood. He says five houses burned. Two of the homes are total losses, and three have minimal fire damage.

Police are looking for the person or persons responsible and ask the community to keep an eye out and report anything suspicious to the Hollywood Police Department.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is also helping with the investigation.
