UPDATE: 23 hurt in school bus crash on Interstate 65 in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – The Nashville Fire Department a school bus was involved in a crash on Interstate 65. Officials with the fire department says they 23 people were hurt. Authorities said one student was critical. The fire department says one person suffered a broken collarbone and two people had serious arm injuries, but none appeared to be life threatening.

Nashville Police spokesman Don Aaron says 43 students were on the bus, along with two chaperones and the driver. The bus was on its way to a convention of the Beta Club, an academic and community service organization, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville.
