AUBURN, Ala (al.com) - Senior wide receiver Marcus Davis will miss the final two games of Auburn's regular season with a shoulder injury.
Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn announced the news Tuesday morning and said the team is "hoping" Davis will be able to return for the bowl game. The Tigers host Alabama A&M this weekend before traveling to Tuscaloosa Nov. 26 to take on No. 1 Alabama in the Iron Bowl.
"He's one of our leaders," Malzahn said of Davis. "He's a super human being. Great character. That's a tough blow. That's a really tough blow."
