The weather in the Tennessee Valley is crisp, cool, and clear -- perfect for skywatching this weekend!

According to EarthSky.org, the South Taurids will be visible after midnight through early morning on November 5. Though waxing, the moon will not be quite at its first quarter, allowing enough darkness to spot a passing meteor or fireball.

To see the Taurids, Space.com recommends looking for the Orion constellation, then to look northeast to find the Taurus constellation.

If you spot a meteor, we would love to see it! Share your photo with us on Facebook or tweet it to WHNT News 19 using the hashtag #valleywx.
