CALERA, Ala. (AP) _ A grand jury has indicted a Calera man accused of running over his wife of less than six month.

AL.com reports that a Shelby County grand jury indicted 36-year-old Kenneth Thomas Young this week on charges of murder, reckless murder and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.

The indictment says Young intentionally ran over his wife, Christen Nichole “Nicki” Carr, on June 25 and left the scene after killing her.

He was arrested in June and booked at Shelby County Jail in lieu of a $1.5 million bond.

Young is set to be arraigned in November. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
