It's not a celebration, it's an anniversary. It is the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, and veterans are definitely remembering.

To honor this milestone anniversary, a lecture series presenting Veterans and their experiences from all services and all phases of the War will be offered to the public.

This event will feature local Vietnam Veterans, memorabilia, displays, and a guest speaker to recognize the contribution and sacrifices made by North Alabama Veterans and to help educate our young people about the Vietnam War.

The event is free and will be held at the Jackson Center on Moquin Drive in Research Park and there will be complimentary donuts, coffee and lunch.
