HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The recent and abrupt closure of ITT Tech campuses across the country, including one in Madison, has left many students with an uncertain educational future while they search for a new academic home.

Leaders at Calhoun Community College are hoping to provide answers to some of those questions during an open house on Tuesday.

Former ITT Tech students can attend the open house from 4-6 p.m. at Calhoun’s new building on Warhawk Way just off Interstate 565 across from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville.

The open house will give potential students a chance to meet face-to-face with representatives from an array of instructional areas, as well as advisers, financial aid staff and student support services.

This will be the second time Calhoun will host such an open house.  Officials organized a similar event back in September.  Calhoun’s president says they wanted to bring an open house to Huntsville to reach more people.
