MADISON COUNTY, Ala. - Madison County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested and charged Timothy Hacker last week in connection with a 2010 cold case.

Jail records indicate Hacker was booked into the Madison County Jail last Thursday on a murder charge. He's been placed on a $60,000 bond. From his arrest warrant, WHNT News 19 has learned Hacker is accused of the 2010 shooting death of Marc Wenger.

On July 12, 2010 Marc Allen Wenger was found fatally shot in his home on Lariat Drive in Harvest.

Last year, Governor Bentley signed a proclamation offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.  Sheriff Dorning announced an additional $10,000 reward for information.
