Huntsville Police join AAMU Police in trying to solve sexual assault crime

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. – The Huntsville Police Department, in coordination with Alabama A&M University, is investigating a reported sexual assault that happened off campus early Saturday morning in the area of Meridian Street and Davis Drive.  The school is encouraging students to be aware of their surroundings and avoid traveling alone.

Campus police say a victim was allegedly forced into a car on campus at gunpoint and then taken off campus and sexually assaulted by two males in black ski masks.

Huntsville Police say the men were described as being black males, one wearing a red shirt with black pants and the other was wearing a white t-shirt with black pants.

Police ask people to be on the lookout for a light colored four door sedan, possibly a Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis, with no tag and no hub caps.
